For something so fundemental to all our lives, why has there never been a tv series on money/finance/banking:?

I suppose in a way you are right but i don't think it would have much of a captive audience especially if it were in a thirteen part series, you have to remember although money is a big thing in our lives and with the recession everyone is talking about it, most people would say "i don't want to depress myself" people are in a financial state of debt aalready probably most people would turn it off. The most likely programme that does and would do well is BBC panorama
