Travel and Distance: Help with a Math Problem Plzzzz!!!!?

biker would be 5 miles ahead when the car hits the sign (10 mph, 1/2 hour), in 10 minutes the car would have traveled 40/6 or 6.66666 miles (40/6 because 10 minutes is a sixth of an hour), and the biker would have traveled 10/6 or 1.66666 miles. At that point, the car has traveled 5 more miles than the biker has since the road sign.
