I spent the night with a friend...?

My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and almost 5 months now. We have a pretty complicated relationship, because this year I came to Germany and he's working in France since the end of February. We've seen each other for less than a week at the end of february, but it seems to have been much longer. He is pretty much out of touch with me since he went to France and he seldom texts. I called him last week on thursday and he wouldn't pick up then texted something along the lines of "I'm not going to pick up". I guess it's because it's expensive for him to recieve my calls, but I topped him up. So I was quite sad about being ignored by him, got totally drunk in my room all alone, and ended up calling the only friend still here (everybody else has gone home for easter) which happens to be a guy.
