No sense trying to be nice at this point since he came to your house, humped you, then left... He got what he wanted now you should move on. Don't worry about explaining your personal life to your mutual friends and don't worry about him thinking you are a ***** because he probably does't care either way. You tried dating him and it didn't work out - it happens all the time. If you don't want him or your mutual friends to think negative of you then don't explain anything, just move on. If you tell everyone why the guy will defend himself and some of your friends might be forced to choose between the two of you. I would leave it alone and move on.
