Telling my dad I am moving out. Please help.?

Sorry hon. This is too much information for your dad (you won't 'get it' until you're a parent). If you're going to move out and become a productive, independent adult then you can't end with "if it doesn't work out, I can always comes back to you" crap. You don't say how old you are - so, if you're under age, you should not be going anywhere. If you are a legal adult, then all you need to say is "I just wanted to let you know that I'm moving out on ____. Thank you for keeping me safe all these years. I know I'm going to be just fine on my own because of all that you've taught me. I want to stay close, so I'd love to come over once a week for dinner - I'll even cook if you'd like! Is there any day that would work best for you?" Be sure to leave him your contact information. Leave the boyfriend crap out of your conversation... because you should only be doing this because YOU can support yourself and because YOU are ready.
