What did you do for your babies first birthday?

Olivia will be 1 in May so I was trying to start planning now. I know we will be inviting tons of friends and family so I don't think we will have enough room here at our place. Im thinking restaurants or cheaper banquet facilities. We might have 30 to 40 people....How much did you mommies also end up spending?
