Debate between a laptop?

My school bought me a laptop to use with a camera for school because I am visually impaired. It is a 17inch Macbook Pro mid 2009. They game it to me in June 2009, saying that I could install anything I wanted on it. I installed a game, and some other programs like antivirus software(Checked for ratings and reviews on PcWorld first)It was running fine all through last year, and I had a very nice para to help me with it Mrs.T Mrs.T left this year to find a better job, and I was stuck with a very cranky and uptight woman Mrs.H. I had kept it over the summer. I found sony vegas and I couldnt resist downloading it because my yt account needed better vids. I liked it right away, and wanted the full version but I didn't have $500 to spend on it. So I carefully looked up the sv keygen, and figured out it had a virus in it. So instead of installing it on the regular windows partition, I installed it on my virtual windows on mac, vmware fusion. So i downloaded both, and i figured out the keygen did have a virus.(It had windows xp too) So when i booted into the normal windows partition, it displayed a message saying it was checking the harddisk. I booted into the virtual and deleted it with malwarebytes. I then booted normally and deleted things on the windows side from the keygen with malwarebytes. The message was gone and things were working normally, until i got to school and the camera program wouldnt open at all. The IT dept reinstalled windows. (They had said before I could keep it over the summer and that i could keep it even after i was done using it.) They were a bit firmer this time, but not much. So I put all my normal programs back on, and it worked fine. However, about two months later, the fan needed to get replaced. They blamed me for that. Then 2 more months later, the usb port(there are three) broke, but they understood that because of the camera cord. Next about 3 mo later i booted into the mac side and tried to make a little vid with imovie. everything was working. Next the sp ed head mrs.kimmel wanted them to put scan software on it so i could type my papers. They couldn't get it to work, and they(of course) blamed me. The software I put on it was (Malwarebytes, CCleaner, LogMeIn, Avira AntiVir, Ridingclub Championships and flash and java.) They tried a desktop scanner instead and it worked fine(they also had sophos antivirus.which is a crap antivirus.) Now they are saying I can't put anything on it and more bad news is coming every day. Mrs.H and Mrs.K support it, but mrs.t never would have. My parents think i should be able to put software on it, and that it wasn't my fault,and the sp ed director is a total head(Mr.Hughes) thinks that I shouldnt do anything on it. We just had a science project, and it made it sooo hard to do without the laptop, because my other computers are very old. Recently when i tried inserting my science dvd on mac it said it crashed because of the 3ivx video codec. (They had had it to install the software before i found the problem)I know the solution is to uninstall it, but i need the admin p to do it, and i used to have full control of th root, but they figured out my p cuz it was too easy. My IEP is on april 1st and My dad is thinking about handing the laptop back to mr.hughes and saying that they will have to buy me a desktop camera for every room ($10,000) vs ($3000) Mrs.kimmel however, makes it sound like youre and idiot when you argue against her, even though youre not.(Does it to my dad, too!) Should we give the laptop back to mr.hughes, did i cause and of the recent crashes such as the 3ivx video codec, and should dr.hughes let me install any programs on there if they all go through pcworld.com? My dad wants to give it back because he says there is no point in having it if they dont allow me to do anything. He said (If they give you a computer, and say its yours, you should be able to do things on it, or its pointless.) When i told mrs.kimmel, she saidd (why? everything fine with this.) but I know its not. What do you think, should I get to use it being careful about the things I download and do(By the way, I know a lot about computers, mr.hughes is stupid) Or should they take it away and blame everything on me, even though I didn't do those? (I will admit to the keygen though. The teachers all heard about it and think im stubborn and say things like (She seems like she gets her way a lot) Mrs.T would have NEVER let them say that if she were there, she stood up for me against another teacher once, instead of following along like Mrs.H. What do you think we should do, what do you think Mr.Hughes should do, and most importantly, what do you think should happen with the computer and do you think they should give me my rights back if I only do good things on it?
