Does anyone know what the wires do that go the cluster harrnest?

I have a 1976 ford maverick.. i cant find digrams that i need for the dashboard i just need to know what what each wire does that go to it the harrnest and what color they are i can re hook them up and see if that fixes the problem with my alternator not charging my battery.
