For new jersey people?

my girlfriend has this thing about the nj pine barrens. and we keep talking about going there since i took a hiking trip there last summer. we both like the exploration aspect i guess, if you know the area you know about the several forgotten bog iron ore and glworks villages and towns that existed in the 1700s and 1800s. valentines day is coming up and i thought it might be nice to day trip there because its kind of quiet and scenic during the day. we cant go on v-day because she will be out of town, but during next week works. the high for the week is about 40, so not particularly warm. we have only been going out a few months so my friend gave me an idea of getting her some spring flowers, like daffodils, and maybe going to a movie and quaint coffee shop afterwards. any idea how i can combine an idea like that with the naturalness of the nj pine barrens?
